Handbuilding

Hands learn by repetition. So we start with small, focused exercises: each one works a single technique until it settles into your fingers. We work through the three essential handbuilding techniques — pinching, coiling and slab construction. No wheel required. The clay takes shape through your hands alone, and that opens a much freer route to form. As the technique steadies, the scale grows. From the small test piece to the object, and from there to work you design yourself. No previous experience needed. Only patience with your own hands.
